Jack Henry & Associates' Y-9 Report Analyzer and Direct Entry Y-9 programs allow bank holding companies with $500 million or more in total consolidated assets to electronically file their FR Y-9C, FR Y-9LP, FR Y-11 and FR Y-11S reports to the Federal Reserve. Holding companies will save time and improve accuracy by importing their subsidiary bank's instance document (e.g., *.xml, *.xTrn) into these programs. The Y-9 software is compatible with all Call Report software vendors, including a direct link to Jack Henry's Call Report Pro software.

The Y-9 Report Analyzer reduces input and research time by consolidating FR Y-9LP, nonbank subsidiary data, and Call Report data to produce the FR Y-9C. The Direct Entry Y-9 allows for manual entry of consolidated totals for holding companies that already have precalculated data and simply want to type it into the form.

To further alleviate the filing burden, bank subsidiaries of the holding company can use the Reclass Y-9 program to reclassify their Call Report data so that it can be automatically imported into the Y-9 Report Analyzer program maintained by their holding company. Jack Henry's program will import Call Report instance documents from any software vendor.

These Y-9 programs include extensive Federal Reserve edit checks to ensure accurate filing. More than 2,000 continuous edit checks save hours of editing, proofing and re-typing time. Additionally, the built-in electronic transmission link in the Y-9 Report Analyzer and Direct Entry Y-9 programs can be used to submit reports to the Federal Reserve via Internet Electronic Submission (IESUB).
